Improving Parents As Communication Teachers - Project Impact is a parent-mediated intervention for young children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and related social communication delays. Project ImPACT is recognized as one of the most effective coaching programs for parents of young children with autism and related social communication delay.

Autism Caregiver Coaching is an evidence-based parent training program designed to support your child’s development through natural interactions. It is developed by experts and focuses on improving communication, social skills, and play through practical, hands-on techniques that seamlessly fit into both parents and child’s daily routines.

Project Impact Parent Coaching is a 12-week program that will help parents and caregivers assist their children up to age six increase social communication, imitation and play skills throughout daily routines and activities. In the coaching session the experts work together with parents to set child goals, learn and practice, strategies and problem solve. Between sessions, parents will practice what they learn to teach their child new skills. Sessions are normally scheduled once or twice per week at the same time each session is 60-90 minutes long. Project ImPACT runs for 12 weeks. Follow-up support is available after the 12 sessions to help ensure child and family success.
